Enjoy a full day (7 hour 15 min) guided group tour with Wilsons (Split Apple Beaches Kayak and Walk) including a 2 hour kayaking trip around the spectacular coastline of the National Park. You may spot some seals, blue penguins and a range of seabirds while paddling! Enjoy a break on the golden sands of a secluded beach before paddling back to Kaiteriteri where you can enjoy lunch (not included) before boarding a 30-45 minute cruise through the protected waters of the Astrolabe Roadstead past idyllic beaches fringed by lush native forest to the golden expanse of Anchorage Bay. Following this, you choose how to spend your time! Swim, sunbathe, take a leisurely stroll along the beach or explore the sunny Manuka groves leading to the idyllic cove of Te Pukatea Bay and return (45 min walking time). For those that would like a longer walk, there’s the option to walk to Te Pukatea via the Pitt Head Loop track, with stunning views across Tasman Bay (1 hr 30 min return). Return to your lodge in the evening.
Today you’ll enjoy a small (7 hour) group tour of some spectacular Nelson wineries with Wine, Art and Wildnerness (tour company). The vineyards of Nelson are set amongst exceptional scenic countryside often with a foreground of either rich horticultural land, or ever changing tidal estuaries, and a background of mountains from Mount Richmond Forest Park or Kahurangi National Park. All wineries and vineyards are family owned. A different theme is presented at each visit and may include Wine Appreciation, interacting with the wine maker, walking among the vines or perhaps enjoying tank and barrel samples.* Food & wine matching is always a highlight along with tasting other local gourmet foods (lunch included). Following this you will be returned to Te Koi for a further night of luxury.
This morning you will check out of Te Koi and transfer to your onward travel arrangements.
