Early November Through the End of December

Muslim travellers sometimes choose to spend their Hari Raya holidays with us here in New Zealand. There are many excellent reasons to visit at these times of the year. Skiing and snowboarding are still in full swing in July. By October, we’ve reached the mid-spring season. There’s likely still snow on the ground in some parts of the country, and it’s still outside the peak travel season.
You’re still typically able to find some excellent skiing and snowboarding opportunities to take advantage of at this time. If hiking is the activity you enjoy most, October is a lovely month to visit New Zealand; our hiking trails are un-crowded to the point of being nearly deserted in the month of October.
