You have just stepped off a long flight upon arrival at Auckland Airport. You are jetlagged, tired and your mind is constantly going through scenarios of how you will get into town, where you will stay and how you are going to Tour New Zealand. Never fear, your private New Zealand tour and private driver/guide are here. You are greeted by your driver at the airport as he loads your luggage into a comfortable 4WD vehicle, designed for maximum comfort and scenery viewing. The bottles of chilled water that are kept in the back are offered to you as you step into the vehicle ready for the journey into Auckland city.
The seat pockets of the car are stocked with magazines of the latest current events and happenings from around New Zealand as well as interactive AA guides that you can follow en route. As you are driven into town your guide points out the landmarks of the city as you get to know each other. Some stories through your New Zealand guide through his expanse and variety of local knowledge are being told throughout the journey.
Our guided city tour of Auckland then begins visiting such sights as Mt Eden Crater and its stunning 360 degree viewpoint as well as the America’s Cup Village and a couple of other little hidden spots that are right in the city yet give a sense of calm and serenity as we gaze as the boats go sailing by.
At the end of your city tour, your guide drives you back to our waterfront hotel where you can gaze out the window at the impressive Hauraki Gulf and Auckland Harbour Bridge. Dinner tonight is also on the waterfront as we sample some of New Zealand’s finest seafood and a selection of the country’s wines and beers in an idyllic setting.
This is only day one of the tour and the beginning of an amazing adventure. Over the next few days you will learn, see and experience all that this wonderful country has to offer. You will get to knowyour guide and they will learn about you. You will be taken to spots not visited by the masses on coach tours that we have sourced out especially as ‘nature at its best’.
If you have never considered this way of travelling before here are some more advantages that separate private touring from coach touring.
– There is ample time in the day for sightseeing. You don’t have to share your itinerary with 50 other people. If you feel like a quieter day the itinerary can be changed to your preference.
– You will get the experience of boutique bed and breakfast and family homesteads and really experiencing New Zealand life, this is not possible on a bus tour of New Zealand as they can’t accommodate groups that large.
Come and join us in wonderful New Zealand on one of our New Zealand tours and leave feeling that you have seen and experience everything that you have always dreamed of and imagined New Zealand to be.
– You will have the opportunity of being taken to sights governed by the Department of Conservation as we are fully registered with them enabling us to physically guide you on walks rather than sit on the coach while you wander and are not sure what variety of trees, birds and names of land features that you are viewing.
– Get to know your guide in a personalised manner and really learn about what it means to have grown up in New Zealand. No need to worry about your driver’s time being divided up by 50 other people.
