Alan & Sherry had plans to join some friends on a cruise ship around NZ and as they had not visited our country before they decided to tack on a quick road trip beforehand.
Alan, originally an Englishman and Sherry, his American wife, live high up in the “Rockies” in the state of Colorado. While they are used to big mountains they were still blown away by the South Island’s spectacular landscapes.
An amateur photographer, Alan was in his element, alternating between his wide & long lens and go-pro. It was a flying visit of only one week but Constance ensured they crammed as much into their time as possible.
They were also very fortunate with the weather…sunny and hot with blue skies compared to the unfortunate water-logged and drenched North Island. Highlights included a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Queenstown and an amazing Eco Zipline Trek through the tree canopy of Bob’s Peak.
